About LITN Home Improvements LLC
Our Story
At LITN Home Improvements, LLC, we’ve been proudly serving the Lowcountry since 2017.
LITN was founded by Nik Musap and Joe FitzPatrick as “Leave it to Nick! LLC”, a painting and handyman service in Summerville, SC. As demand for our work grew, we began taking on larger and more complex renovation projects. In response, we expanded our team and capabilities to support full-service home remodeling. This led to rebranding as LITN Home Improvements LLC, no longer a handyman service but a comprehensive residential remodeler.
Today, LITN is a premier home improvement company in the greater Charleston area specializing in whole-home renovation projects with an emphasis on bathroom remodeling and kitchen remodeling.
We serve homeowners throughout the Lowcountry including Mount Pleasant, Charleston, West Ashley, Summerville, and Ridgeville as well as the beachside communities on Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, Kiawah, Seabrook and Edisto. We’re fully licensed, bonded, and insured, providing additional peace of mind throughout the remodeling process.
Whether you want to renovate the house you just purchased or are updating a space you plan to live in for years to come, LITN Home Improvements provides trustworthy and quality service to get the job done right.

Our Process
A successful remodel is built on clear communication, thoughtful planning, and consistent follow-through. Our process is designed to keep things organized, transparent, and well-managed from start to finish.
- Initial Consultation – The best remodel projects start with a conversation. When you reach out to us, we’ll schedule an in-home consultation with the team member best suited to your project. During this visit we take the time to understand your space, and listen to your goals, needs, and priorities.
- Planning and Proposal – Our planning process translates the in-home meeting into a plan that aligns scope, materials and budget. We use your input to shape design, select materials and prepare a detailed proposal outlining the work. Together, we review the proposal to confirm it aligns with your vision.
- Project Kickoff – Once the proposal is approved, you’re introduced to your dedicated project manager. They serve as your primary point of contact and coordinate scheduling, trades, and day-to-day details throughout the project.
- Construction and Oversight – As work begins, your project manager oversees progress and keeps communication clear. Our focus is on maintaining organization, quality, and momentum so the project moves forward smoothly.
- Completion – When the work is complete, we walk through the finished space with you to review the details. We consider the project finished only when everything has been addressed, and the space is ready to enjoy.
